    500 S&W Magnum, What's Not to Love?

Post by Cornmastah on Tue May 19, 2015 7:13 pm

I've always loved big bore guns, but now that I've been successful in talking one of my buddies into buying a 500 magnum revolver, I anticipate shooting mine a lot more frequently. I helped him find a used one in great condition for $850, loaded up some ammo, and we had some fun. Here is a short video of some 500 mag water jug duels:

    Niiiiice!!

I think that's the first time I've ever seen someone try to quickly reload a 500 S&W. I think the definition of "pessimism" is practicing a quick reload for a 500 S&W.

My friend and I just picked up about 375 pounds of scrap lead from a stained glass window shop for about $.30/lb. Time to make some more cheap boolits! Should be great for inexpensive 500 mag shooting.
