    Zombie Preparedness

Post by Cornmastah on Sun Oct 11, 2015 7:08 pm

This last week I also got around to loading up my 140 gr powder coated 9mm bullets I cast from a new mold a few weeks ago. I developed a subsonic load with them which I figured would be perfect for my suppressors. Zombie green 140 gr subsonic 1000 fps loads with bullseye and a g19:

I ended up loading up around 500 rounds.

Very interesting bullet shape. That looks a mighty wide meplat for a semi-auto caliber. I love it. Have you fired any of these before through the Glock? I assume they will feed just fine, but that's still quite a testimony to the Glock's ability to fed just about anything.

It feeds fine (with about 40 rounds tested in it).  It is a Ranch Dog designed bullet--he designs some good stuff.  With that wide meplat, it should sure hit hard, and with a softer alloy, expand well.  The barrel is a Stormlake barrel with conventional rifling.
