Doing a giveaway on youtube for a WFT (world's finest trimmer) from Little Crow Gunworks. Trimmer that chucks in a drill and trims off of the sized shoulder.

I have the old fashioned trimmer. It's a little table with the trimmer and a place to anchor the case and a micrometer to adjust the cut.

That's an interesting idea from an engineering standpoint. Only problem is that it becomes calibre specific. If you load a lot of .308 (or any other calibre that they offer - like maybe 5.56), it might make sense. Chamfer and deburr are an issue, but it's true of any reload you do. Though I never found a need to trim pistol cases. I don't think they walk much.

A YouTube channel?  Look at you being all... well... YouTubey.  Wink

Subscribed. Had no idea you had a channel. But, I'm a tech geek from the prehistoric '80s (the 8086 chip - Google it.) Which means I've recently been able to get my smartphone to make calls.

I've been considering a World's Finest Trimmer. What have you found that is better?

Those WFT's are amazing. I was given several thousand .223/5.56 dirty cases, and I thought it would be a year until I got them all trimmed. Bought a WFT and it makes trimming a non-event. I love it, and will be getting one for each high power caliber I handload.

Ha ha, well I had enough people keep asking me the same questions over and over--so I started making a few videos to explain stuff. Then it kinda grew from there. It is kind of fun to share stuff I learn or some of the weird crap I do with casting/loading/shooting. Once I got a Giraud Power Trimmer, I stopped using the WFT. The Giraud does the same thing as the WFT but also chamfers and deburrs all in one step. It is a huge time saver.
